Only 12,5 more hours for the show to begin! It will be 4 in the morning here, but I’m thinking maybe I’ll sleep at 9 and wake at 3 to see it! :)

Eddard/Catelyn. I also ship Ned/Ashara, but I can’t help but admire the love these two have for each other. It is real, lasting and rare. It was an arranged marriage, made tragic by the fact that it wasn’t even arranged between Eddard and Catelyn, but between Brandon and Catelyn. I think these two are the complete opposite of Robert and Cersei. While Robert and Cersei were forced into marriage, like these two, they didn’t try to work it out, but instead hated each other and ended up … you know what. Eddard and Catelyn, though, came to love each other through the years, and made the most of their marriage. I think they are one of those rare couples in Westeros that you can say love each other in a romantic, tender way, and when I think about it those couples are VERY few. Eddard was my first favourite character in aSoIaF. I think his last action was pretty stupid, but for some reason, I think it was to bring the plot forward and to direct it wherever it had to go. If Eddard hadn’t acted that way, EVERYTHING would be different. But he chose family before honour, and in the end lost both. Poor Ned :( Catelyn is also a great, strong character. The only thing I hate is how she talked to Jon, but I’m re-reading GoT right now and while I still hate her for doing that, I am seeing again all her badassness and I love her, thinking that she was half-mad at that moment! I think the fandom -and I,for that matter- would adore her if not for that moment with Jon (which is one of my 3 fave characters, and the favourite of the fandom).
This graphic is so busy, I know, but it had to contain ALL the awesomness of the Starks, from Benjen to Robb and Catelyn to Arya! :)))
